From wikipedia, Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era–inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.
My experience with the SoulsBorne (Dark Souls and Bloodborne, although there are many other games that are created by FromSoftware that kinda fall under this genre) is mostly unfinished playthroughs and watching Let's Plays. I love the worlds and mechanics in these games. Even if it's frustrating, I still have fun playing these games.
But my personal favorite out of all these games is Bloodborne. I love the world, characters, story, game mechanics, music, and of course the aesthetics. Perhaps because it was the first game I've actually played out of these games, I feel more connected to Bloodborne. It felt more together to me compared to the Dark Souls series and the predecessor Demon Souls.
